Description:

terrestrial or epiphytic subshrub w/rhizomes. leaves thick-coriaceous, slightly bullate; pedicels & calyx green suffused w/red; corolla succulent, coriaceous. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

cloud forest with Miconia, Weinmannia, Clethra. rare.
