Description:

straggly shrub t 1.5 m tall. pedicels dark maroon as calyx; corolla bright red; leaves brittle, concave, young ones reddish-purple.
Habitat:

Wet grasslands and dwarf shrubs on peatlands, riparian thickets and vegetation on open rocks. common amongst rocks.
