Description:

shrub to 2 m. floral bracts red to pale green suffused with red; corolla red basa-lly and pale yellowish-green apically.

Habitat:

steep, windswept slopes dominated by Befaria, Gaultheria, and Melas-tomataceae and bracken fern. scattered on ridge top.
