Location:

Guyana. Mount Latipú, 15 km. north of Kamarang (Mazaruni River). Alt. 900m. (2953 ft.)

Description:

Shrub. Calyx red at the base, green at the apex, corolla red.

Habitat:

Dry, low, scrubby vegetation on white sand, near top of mountain.
