Panama. Veraguas. Ridge of Cordillera de Tute, along trail to Cerro Tute, 3-4 km past Escuela Agricola Alto Piedra, just W of Santa Fé. Alt. 800 - 1400 m. (2625 - 4593 ft.)

Description:

Epiphytic shrub 2.5 m. flowers pink, fuzzy. Calyx magenta. New growth very pale green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Premontane and montane rainforest.
