Bolivia. La Paz. Murillo; Valle de Zongo, vic. of the Escuela Cambaya, 28.3 km N (below) La Cumbre. Alt. 2560 - 2800 m. (8399 - 9186 ft.)

Description:

epiphytic shrub, branches to 3 m; overhanging river. Leaves thick-coriaceous. Immature fruiting calyces green.

Habitat:

cloud forest with open, dry areas with Alnus along Río Zongo; overhanging river. locally common, but none in flower.
