Venezuela. Bolívar. Chimantá Massif, Torono-tepuí. on summit above valley of Caño Mojado. Alt. 2030 - 2150 m. (6660 - 7054 ft.)

Description:

Shrub 1.5 m., locally frequent. Young leaves, pedicels, and buds rusty-pubescent.

Habitat:

Open dwarf forest, north-facing slopes on summit above valley of Cano Mojado.
