Shrub 2 m tall; fruit green, maturing red; on sandstone. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

On sandstone. Steep-sided grassy, shrubby, or wooded slopes with sandstone outcrops, sloping down to a deep, shaded box canyon with vertical walls and subterranean drainage.
