Description:

shrub, terrestrial. Terrestrial shrub, rarely epiphytic. Calyx green, 5-7 parted. Corolla rotate, pale greenish-white, 5-6 parted. Fruit lilac; embryo white. Infrequent. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Ecotone of puna grassland with remnant forest patches.
