Description:

terrestrial shrub to 2 m tall. floral bracts bright, glossy orangish-red; pedicels & calyx whitish;lower 1/2 of corolla white grading into dark purple.
Habitat:

roadside slopes cloud forest. one plant seen.

Collection Notes: limb and lobes white, lobe margins purple; filaments white; anther sack golden yellow, tubules tinged w/purple
