Description:

terrestrial shrub with branches to 1.5 m tall. no wintergreen odor; floral bracts and bracteoles dark rose-red; ca-lyx pale yellowish-green; corolla completely white.

Habitat:

steep moist roadside slopes and pasture borders. scattered.
