Description:

shrub with branches to 2 m long, arising from tuberous root-stock. rachis and lower 1/2 of pedicels green, upper 1/2 of pedicels and calyx orange; lower 4/5 of corolla bright orange.
Habitat:

secondary growth along steep roadsides. common.
