Description:

terrestrial shrub with branches to 3 m long. stem basal diameter approximately 15 cm; inflorescence red at base with white lobes; fruits erect turning purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

steep roadside slopes dominated by Ericaceae. abundant.
