Description:

suffrutescent herb to 2-3 dm. tall. stem pubescence ferrugineous; floral bracts green suffused with red;calyx red; corolla white heavily suffused with red.
Habitat:

steep, moist, shaded roadside with disturbed páramo vegetation; on vertical road cuts. locally common.
