Description:

Leaves discolor, shinning on top. Bracts and calyx bright green. Corolla basically green, usually red on the side exposed to sun, more lathery than fleshy; filaments white to pale pink. Anthers brown; made coor. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

páramo and surrounding forested areas.
