Description:

Species Description - Plants epiphytic. Rhizomes short-creeping, with black scales 4 X 0.7 mm. Sterile fronds with petiole light brown to brown, 10-15 cm long, covered with beige scales, these slightly darker in center, 5-6 X 2 mm; blade elliptic, 15-20 X 2.5-3.5 cm, acuminate at apex, decurrent at base, glabrous above, with sparse, light beige scales 2 X 1 mm on midvein. Fertile fronds with petiole 15 cm long, with scales similar to those on sterile fronds; blade 15 X 1.5 cm.

Distribution and Ecology - In cloud forest. This species is represented by Granville et al. 8659, 8759, 8768, 8796 and 8957.
