Location:

United States of America. Iowa. Bremer Co. Site is appoximately 0.5 mile WNW of downtown Janesville. Site is a ditch just E of U.S. highway 218 and NE of a water tower. Site is about 0.2 mile W of the Cedar River and on the Iowan Surface.

Description:

500 + genets scattered in the ditch. About 20% of the genets had flowers and the rest had fruits or were vegetative. Flowers were light purple in color. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
Habitat:

Soil the ditch was dug in is Hagener loamy sand, benches, 0-2% slopes (HbA). With Bromus inermis, Oenothera biennis, Silene antirrhina and Tragopogon dubius.
