Description:

Shrub 3 ½m. tall with several ascending stems to 5 cm. diam. Petals golden-yellow with base of vein and claw bright red. Filaments cream, anthers beige, ovary green. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Secondary shrubbery of roadside through a "cerrado" gallery forest transition.
