Description:

Subshrub ca. 1m tall. Calyx red-brown; corolla yellow; stamens straw, the inflorescence not glutinous. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Scattered in campo, especially in low, periodically flooded places. Gallery woods and adjacent campo (partly brejo).
