Description:

A small tree, springing up quickly. Evergreen, or nearly so. Flowers white or cream, neuter flowers orange. Pinnae about 12, leaflets 30 or more oblong, silvery pubescence beneath. Calyx and corolla rusty pubescent (like the rest of the plant), calyx half the length of the corolla, or less. A fast growing tree, near A. julibrissin. Young pod tomentose.
