    My research interests are in the areas of molecular biology and phylogeny ‎of cyanobacteria especially analysis of bioactive compounds of Nostocales ‎‎(cyanobacteria)‎ with LC-MS and purified with HPLC. My recent research ‎focuses on the amplification and sequencing of structural genes and functional ‎genes for identification of cyanobacteria and performing exhaustive DNA ‎fingerprinting for molecular phylogeny of the heterocystous cyanobacteria.
