Notes
Entered Sep 2024. The PLM Herbarium (PLMH) is a university-based herbarium located at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), Intramuros, Philippines, dedicated to preserving plant and fungal specimens primarily gathered from undergraduate research projects and course requirements since 1983. The collection includes approximately 500-600 specimens housed in the university’s biology laboratory, representing various taxa such as algae, bryophytes, pteridophytes, gymnosperms, angiosperms, fungi, and lichens. The primary objective of PLMH is to serve as a repository for specimens collected by student researchers and faculty members, supporting education, research, and citizen science initiatives with a focus on benefiting the academic community and the residents of Manila.
