    Entered Jun 2022. St. Joseph's College Herbarium, Irinjalakuda started with the establishment of Botany Department in the college. During the early stages, it is used to collect the herbarium sheets of students who completed the UG classes. During theses years, the herbarium enriched with its number of herbarium sheets and spirit collection. Presently, it accommodates more than 3000 herbarium sheets and 100 spirit collections of Algae, Fungi, Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, Gymnosperms and Angiosperms. It also consists of seven type specimens. Now a days the herbarium is equipped digitalization of whole specimens.
