    Includes the operations of the Herbarium museum and maintaining collected dried specimens and card files, records of acquisitions, loans, exchanges of specimens, and preparing, mounting, repairing, and accessioning herbarium specimens. Organizes educational programs to create environmental awareness among students and trains teachers in environmental education. It coordinates with various programs in the conduct of service-learning on environmental science, biology, and other related sciences. It provides a suitable environment for relaxation and rejuvenation as part of the health and wellness program of the University. Serves as a fundamental resource for all kinds of plant taxonomic studies and botanical pedagogy. It is a repository and conservatory of voucher specimens on which varieties of botanical studies are done. It also facilitates the generation of quantitative baseline data on the distribution and abundance of keystone species; and aids in the assessment and cataloging of all species of economic potential. As commercial species, medicinal herbs, food plants, and others. The Herbarium helps in using the spores and seeds specimens of the herbarium to revive extinct wild species using modern technology. It maintains active links to the international network of systematic resources. This procedure establishes the steps in the operation of the Herbarium. It serves as a guide for the herbarium staff, faculty, students, and stakeholders in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the University Herbarium.
