    This is predominantly specimens collected by David Gwynne-Evans for research purposes of Hermannia (Malvaceae) as well as for identification of observations that are (or will be) uploaded to CASABIO.org. Earlier specimens (c. 1997-2005) focused on the arid Klein Karoo region of South Africa. More recent specimens focus on burnt areas. Labels are currently being added to specimens generated by the CASABIO.org citizen science platform.
