    Entered October 2019. Herbarium of The Gandhigram Rural Institute (Deemed to be University) started with minimal collections of Master degree students. Further through projects, it has been extended to large level with collections of Impatiens; Elaeocarpus; Syzygium; Eugenia; Endemic and Threatened Species of Western Ghats; Medicinal Plants of Plains and Eastern Ghats. Also, we started to work for the Taxonomic revision of Indian Garcinia; Impatiens; Elaeocarpus; Syzygium; Eugenia. Also published several new species and holding isotypes of 9 species.
