Notes
Entered Sep 2019. In 1981, the Government of the Province of San Juan ceded the botanical collection in custody to the National University of San Juan. The collection was increasing year by year thanks to the different research projects of the Institute and Museum of Natural Sciences. In 2017 the collection adopted the name of \"Herbario Provincial Saile Echegaray\". Currently, the herbarium has approximately 10,000 sheets that represent a large part of the flora of San Juan. Besides, the Herbarium is directly linked to the Microhistological Collection, reference patterns are made of the herbalized species, especially of the plants belonging to protected areas of the province.
