    Entered April 2019. The WCAS herbarium is established in 2009 during floristic exploration of Solapur District and Balaghat Ranges of Maharashtra. About 7000 herbarium specimens of flowering plants are stored in WCAS herbaria. The specimens of newly described taxa like Crinum solapurense, Vigna pandeyana, Vigna yadavii, Curculigo janarthanamii are also safely stored. The isotype of C. janarthamii is well deposited in herbaria.
