    Taxonomic Coverage: Bryophyte collections made by Dr. A.E. Dulip Daniels and his research fellows since 1995 from the Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats in Peninsular India. This herbarium holds exclusively bryophyte specimens. The specimens document continuing studies in various parts of the Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats in peninsular India. There are also some some African specimens gifted to the Herbarium by Mr. M.J. Wigginton, Peterborough, England, Himalayan specimens gifted by Dr. D.G. Long (E) and European specimens gifted by Dr. G. Winter, Senckenberg Natural History Museum, Germany
