Notes
Entered Jul 2010. The Herbarium of the Universidade Federal do Acre (UFACPZ) was founded in 1979. Much of the collection is the product of a collaborative research program with The New York Botanical Garden (NY). UFACPZ exchanges specimens with major Brazilian herbaria and with herbaria in neighboring Peru and Bolivia. As of 2010 the entire collection is being imaged and data-based using BRAHMS. The data stored in the Herbarium UFACPZ are of priority use for educational, scientific and public management. No aspect of this collection may be used without proper legal permission for any commercial purpose or one that generates income
