Notes
The Sweeney Granite Mountains Desert Research Center Herbarium is used primarily as a teaching herbarium for visiting researchers and classes. This facility is a part of the University of California\'s Natural Reserve System, which serves a mission of promoting a better understanding and wise management of arid lands, especially the California deserts. Our collection is completely databased (Filemaker Pro) and available upon request; all California specimens contributed to the Consortium of California Herbaria database (http://ucjeps.berkeley.edu/consortium/). We are also in the process of photo digitizing the collections.
