Notes
The Sheffield University herbarium is a collection of ~12,000 dried plant samples spanning 170 years of floral history across the British Isles and beyond. At present ~5000 of these species in the British Collection have been databased in a digital catalogue by a voluntary curator (2017-22) A joint project between the School of Bioscience and Library team at the University of Sheffield is underway to digitally image a portion of these catalogued specimens (2023-24)
