Notes
The herbarium consists of about 250,000 samples of vascular species and about 15,000 Bryophyte. The part dedicated to the vascular flora is organized in distinct sections for geographical areas and includes exsiccata coming mainly from Marche, Umbria, Trentino Alto-Adige and Abruzzo. A part of the Herbarium is dedicated to the “Montagna di Torricchio” National Reserve, owned by the University of Camerino since 1970, managed by researchers of the “Plant Biodiversity and Ecosystem Management” unit in the School of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine, University of Camerino. A small section is due to the monitoring of the plant diversity of forests (CONECOFOR) in the framework of the international cooperation program \"ICP Forests\". The Herbarium is available for consultation by the national and international scientific community and for the exchange of samples with other Italian and foreign Universities. In 2018 the Herbarium also joined the \"CoRIMBo\" project (Coordination of the Italian Network of Botanical Museums) of the Italian Botanical Society [updated Dec 2019]
