    Updated May 2016 (correspondent update). The Herbarium contains: 1. Nomenclatural types: 3031 2. Historical: important collections made by Ducke (8,571 samples), Goeldi, A. (376 samples), Huber (2,500 samples), Snethlage, E. (257 samples),Spruce (396 samples), Tresling (92 samples), Ule (2,788 samples). 3. Fungous and lichens: 3.895 specimens,especially Basidiomycotinae, Ascomycotae, Myxomicotinae, and historical collections 4. Bryophytes: 7,699 specimens, 96 of which are types. 5. Ferns: 5,311 specimens 6. Seedlings: 179s vouchers specimens. 10. Fruits and seeds: 3,128 specimens. 11. Pollen: 2245 microscope slides of Amazonian species. 12. Histological: 700 microscope slides of vegetative organs (root, stems and leaves). 13. Wood: ca. 7814 vouchers and a collection of histological sections on slides. 14. Essential oils - 900 samples.
