Notes
Forbs are dificult to define. Some flowering plants, such as Taraxicum officinalis (dandelion), are always herbaceous, whereas other species, such Erechtites hieraciifolia (pilewort) often flower when herbaceous but also flower when slilghtly woody. We consider a dandelio ntob a forb whereas the pilewort is a suffrutex (also called a subshrub).
