  • Notes

    In neotropical Lecythidaceae, leaf blades are usually discolorous because the abaxial leaf blade surface is papillate and the make the abaxial surface lighter in color than the adaxial surface. All leaves of neotropical Lecythidaceae are at least slight discolorous.
