Description: Cyathium of a species of Euphorbia. From the Guide to the Vascular Plants of Central French Guiana. Part 1 (Mori et al., 1997). Note that there is one pistillate flower and several staminate flowers inside of the cyathium; thus, this is a unique type of inflorescence diagnostic of species of Euphorbia.
