Notes
In Lecythidaceae, two types of camptrodromous venation occur, the eucamptodromous type and the brochidodromous types. Neotropical Lecythidaceae most frequently have a combination of brochidodromous and eucamptodromous venation with the former occurring more distally than the latter but sometimes one or the other type prevails, e.g., the eucamptodromous type dominates species of Allantoma and the brochidodromous type dominates species of Cariniana.
