eat area of fruit around seed The Aguaruna give Kunapip to their dogs to improve their hunting ability (Brown 1981). The Secoya do likewise (Vickers and Plowman 1984). Schultes and Raffuaf (1990) describe many medicinal uses of T. sananho including analgesic, antipyretic, calmative, contraceptive, diuretic, emetic, and as a post-partum tonic.
