    Tree 17 m x 38.1 cm DBH, bark not deeply fissured, inner bark deep red, deeper within coral and white; resin clear. Fruits globose, maturing yellow-orange, some collected from ground under crown. Bark photos. N.V.: taperebá. Phenology of specimen: Fruit, Fruit.
