Description
Species Description - Erect slender annual, glabrous herb 15-60 cm tall. Leaves 3- 4-pinnately compound, 10-12 x 6-8 cm, the leaflets linear, membranous; petiole longer than the blade. Flowers produced in simple or compound umbels, the peduncles nearly sessile to 2 cm long. Calyx 0.4 mm long, bell-shaped, with inconspicuous sepals; petals white, 0.2-0.4 mm long, inflexed over the stamens; stamens short, the anthers ellipsoid. Fruit circular to ovoid, 1-3 mm long; mericarps readily separating.
Distribution and Ecology - Uncommon in moist, shaded areas. Bordeaux Mountain (W478). A pantropical weed, probably native to Brazil.
