Species Description - Phyllodes 2–6 cm, with 4–6 transverse septa; peduncle about as long, with 4–9 fls; fr broadly ovoid, 2 mm, nearly or fully as wide; 2n=22. Tidal mud and brackish marshes; N.S. to Fla. and Miss. Summer. (L. lineata)
