  Species Description - Freely branching annual to 7 dm; lf-segments 5–10 mm; umbels lax, with 3–6 rays to 3 cm; bractlets lance-linear, reflexed, 2–3 mm; fr glabrous, linear, the body 5–6 mm, the beak 2–3 mm; 2n=18. Native of Europe, occasionally escaped from cult. in e. U.S. May–July. (Cerefolium c.)
