Description
Species Description - Stems prostrate, to 1 m or more, uncinate-puberulent and with longer spreading hairs; stipules ovate- to lance-acuminate, 4–8 mm; petioles 2.5–5 cm; lfls appressed-hairy on both sides and sometimes with a few hooked hairs, the terminal one ovate or rhombic, 5–7 × 3–5 cm; racemes axillary and terminal, branching; fls 7–9 mm, on pedicels to 9 mm; articles 3 or 4, 6–8 × 4–5 mm, deltoid (the upper suture straight) or rhombic (both sutures angled). Dry sandy woods; Mass. to Md.; s. Mo. July, Aug. (D. glabellum, misapplied)
