Description
Species Description - Stems erect, 4–10 dm, finely appressed- hairy; petioles 1–2.5 cm; stipules lanceolate, 1–2 cm; lfls rhombic elliptic, 4–8 cm; racemes mostly loose, 6–15 cm; bracts lanceolate; cal finely hairy, its lower lobes triangular, acuminate; cor 15 mm; pods 5–7 cm, irregularly spreading, hairy or glabrate. Woods, typically on the piedmont, sometimes in the mts. especially southward; s. Va. to Ga. May.
