Species Description - Much like no. 24 [Rubus discolor Weihe & Nees]; stems glabrous or nearly so; prickles of stem and infl long, strong, subulate, straight, spreading; lfls 3 or 5; pet pale pink to red; 2n=28. European sp., occasionally escaped from cult. in our range.
