Description
Species Description - Petioles 3–7 cm, flat, glabrous, lf-blades linear, 2–5 cm × 2 mm; stipules 5 mm, adnate, marginally fimbriate; scape glabrous, 6–13 cm, with 1–4 fls 6–8 mm wide; sep minutely glandular-denticulate, 4–5 mm; pet white, obovate, 6 mm; seeds black, oblong-obovoid, rhomboidal, 0.5–0.8 mm, densely and irregularly crateriform-pitted; 2n=20. Bogs and wet shores, especially in calcareous sites; se. Can., s. to Me., Mich., Wis., and Minn., and w. irregularly through s. Can. to B.C. and nw. Mont. July–Aug.
