Description:Species Description - Shrubby, branched, glabrous or nearly so, the branches spreading. Leaves opposite, ovate to ovate-lanceolate or deltoid-ovate, 2-8 cm. long, acute or obtuse, coarsely dentate or crenate-dentate, obtuse to subcordate at the base, petioled; heads commonly numerous; involucre 10-30-flowered, 4-5 mm. high; its bracts linear to linear-spatulate; flowers white; achenes 2-3 mm. long.
