    Species Description - Scape 5–15 cm; lvs 2–5, lance-ovate, 1–3 cm; pedicels short, 1–3 mm; fls yellowish-green, the lip uppermost, 1.5 mm, surpassed by the lateral sep, which stand erect behind it; 2n=28. Deep bogs; nearly circumboreal, entering our range in n. Minn. July, Aug. Our smallest orchid.
