Description
Species Description - Much like no. 2 [Disporum lanuginosum (Michx.) G. Nicholson]; lvs long-acuminate, puberulent on the lower surface; tep creamy-white, short-acuminate, widest at or above the middle; stamens usually well exserted; ovary and lower half of the style usually hairy; stigma subentire; 2n=18. Woods; B.C. to Calif. and w. Mont.; disjunct in n. Mich. May, June. (Prosartes h.) Ours is var. oreganum (S. Watson) Q. Jones.
